Do Plasma's get affected by the magnets in speakers, like CRT tvs do?
Does a 32" Plasma have 32" actual viewing unlike CRTs, making 32" Plasma's "bigger" than 32" CRTs, in the same way that a 17" lcd monitor has as big a screen as a 19" CRT monitor?

All other things being ignored and with the same size visible screen, is plasma picture quality better or worse than CRT or is the diference negliable ? (inputs are sky digital n Dvds)

    Cheers

    Ash

Have a hunt through the forum for the 'quality' answers ...

No, plasmas are not affected by the magnets in speakers ...

plasma's are measured across the diagaonal same as crt's but generally the size is 'actual' ... my panny 42" is actually 41.5" ...

On a good source you will be impressed with the picture ... on a bad source the larger size of the screen shows *every* imperfection !! ;-)
