    Hi everybody,

about this (longly) discussed topic, I did not found any quantitative suggestion on how to avoid this problem. I can only find something like "avoid static images like logos/game HUDs for a prolonged period". How would you quantify this "prolonged period"?
Same holds true for the contrast and brightness levels, for which I found recommendations to keep them low, but for those it is much more a matter of being satisfied with the image... it is pointless to keep brightness and contrast too low in order to avoid screen brun, thus having a bad quality image.

I am quite concerned because I want to connect PS2 and Xbox to my brand new 42" plasma screen.

    Thanks for any feedback
    Cheers
