Is there anywhere in the UK that offers reasonable Plasmas for home rental?

I would love to upgrade my 28" TV to a 42" plasma but am unsure as to the life expectency of such an investment, especially when watching lots of Sky (damn channel logos). Rental seems like the no hasstle alternative.

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

I know that The Media Factory do commercial plasma displays, which may include renting to businesses. Joe usually pops into this forum, so he could probably give you a definitive answer.

    Cheers,
    Liam

Not quite what I was expecting, more along the lines of the 42" Rear Projection Toshiba by www.dialatv.com (£45 per month).

This is for home use and if i could afford £300 a month then I could afford to buy one on 12 months interest free (£300 x 12 = £3600).

    Keep tryin,
    Paul

Just thought I'd mention Makro have a toshiba RP tv for £795+Vat at the moment.
If it was'nt for the massive footprint I'd have taken one, kept it for a year and resold it for a small amount.
This would have given me time to consider.... again.

£95+vat seems ok, but remember that the Thomson plasma TV is currently £2,300 - £2,500.
At lot of rental companies have now changed terms to only allow minimum 18 months, very similar price to the Thomson.
You could keep the thomson for 2 years and still get something for it on Ebay.

    Steve :)

I'd never rent one for home use, we do exhibitions etc, there's no money in the home situation, you can get £300 or so for a weekend in the corporate world. Mind you that includes setup, delivery etc.
