    Hi
I have A Panasonic PW37 and just bought a new PS2. Is there any reason why the PS2 plays black and white on the plasma and colour on my CRT?

Set up is PS2 to scart. Tried changing cables etc but can't think of anything else to do. Anyone else experienced this?

    Thanks

Right , it could be a number of things.

Make sure that the PS2 is set up to output RGB. Make sure the lead is RGB capable.
I am not familuar with the pw range myself but does the scart take multiple input types? IE svideo/composite/rgb? if it does you may have to select which type of input to display in the user settings of the panal ,or you have to press the av select input button a couple of times like you do on the Viera plasma to get the right input.

Horny dragon/ gordon/ or piers on these forums may be able to give you some better advice

    when a videogame console outputs a B/W signal, 99 out of 100 It's a modified PAL console

but I might be wrong in this particular case

since you're saying on your CRT image is in colors I believe you're using the right cable, so make sure to check if the scart input of your PW7 is RGB compatible
