Right..depending on the progress of my "Hanging a Plasma on weekass wall" thread, I may potentially be mounting the Plasma opposite a large window, that does get the sun.

Plasma would be wall mounted approximately 6m from the window.
So I was wondering...what are the likely implications, of daylight viewing of the screen? Obviously...direct sunlight will affect it...but..we do have light coloured curtains, that can be drawn during teh day, to subdue teh light, without walking around bumping in to things...would this potentially be sufficient...or should I invest in a blind as well?

Reason for having it on said wall...is because it will mean I can make best use of my already installed surround sound...so, if teh "Week ass wall" can be overcome...sunlight is teh only other contributing factor.

    Screen would be Panny Px600

    Any ideas?

My screen partially reflects light from a window and drives me nuts.

Even with the blinds closed it's still noticeable so if you can avoid it then do so cos the light effectively blocks part of the screen.

The only solution is heavy curtains.:(

Well...we have full length curtains...which arent lined...so I though if I installed a roller blind as well across teh full width, it could be brough down half way, and provide a soft light into teh room, which hopefully should be ok.

Go for a blackout blind instead of normal roller blind if you can get one.
