Plasma outputs nicam stereo -> pro-logic?

Hi,

So i am getting a PX80 and wil take the audio from the TV to my amp. Now the PX80 has nicam outputs am i right in thinking that the amp will only output in stereo or will it decode this into pro-logic? I assume the pro-logic info is mixed in the nicam signal and the TV just doesnt know how to decode this?

Nicam is a 2 channel output. The tv will output a 2 channel signal and your amp will decode this into a Pro Logic I/II depending on your amps spec.
