Anyone know of any plasma or LCD TVs (ie tuner and speakers built in / attached - not media boxes) that have a digital (Freeview) tuner as opposed to a terrestrial one either available now or due out soon.

Looking for a 30" 'ish' set for the bedroom but would like a digital tuner as terrestrial aerial signal not that hot.

    Thanks.

Right. Didn't know you did Sharp kit. Price by PM? When you in next I'll pop in and have a look. Prefer plasma but not seen the latest crop of LCD.

No he doesn't. Apparently they are waiting for their demo model. However. RGB Direct and Digital Direct web sites both 'say' they have stock.

No, they haven't either! Due in March, and don't bother with the pricing you see, it's a couple of hundred ish more than the analogue, no more.

Nice one. Thanks. I'd prefer a small (30" ?) plasma with digital tuner but there seems nothing available and nothing due that I can see. I know everyone says LCD is the way to go but I have a small (17", 1280x720) LCD and THE plasma and the plasma blows the little one away on tereestrial. At this point in time I prefer plasma :)

Quite understand. Even agree! I'm not at all keen on the 32" plasmas, haven't seen one I'd cross the road to you know what on if it was on fire in fact, so there it is. A hole in the market for a decent display. How about a 30" LCD from NEC, with a Netgem freeview box hanging off it's component vid sockets. All available now, they'r 3k ish, get you a price on that if you like? Still not plasma like yours I daresay, but up to sharp LCD standard, and IMHO better than the current crop of 32" plasma. They all have humungous media boxes, except Sony which so thick it's hard to imagine wall mounted. What plasma do you run?

I don't want any external boxes. It is to go in the bedroom and the wall it will go on has no capability to fit any boxes of any kind, hence the need for an all in one. I have a Sharp 50" plasma (Pioneer 503 HDE clone) but just bought a 504HDE today to replace it.

If its any use messiah the sharp media box can be hidden as it has no IR receiver or need to be visible.
If thats the case why havent sharp just offered a digital box for current LC30 HV2/4E models???
