Plasma or LCD best for Freeview?

    Also posted this in the Plasma section for a more unbiased response.
    Going to replace my Panasonic 32" CRT for a larger screen. As I don't have sky or intend to, any advice on which is the best screen for freeview under £800 37" - 40" ?
    Going to let the kids have the Panasonic for the playstation And Wii even though the pictures are superb.

    Plasma in my view...

    Bought my Panny 42PX70 Plasma for £659 from John Lewis. The store were very good at showing me loads of LCD's and other plasmas on freeview and this was by far the best picture (at this price level, bettered obviously by the way more expensive Pioneer then the Panny PZ70)

    Sound was a little disappointing but you get used to that.

    The freeview picture is fab, even better on 720p dvd's

    the 37 is under £600

    Ditto for Plasma again... I have the 37" Panasonic and it is beautiful with freeview via my Topfield 5800 or the internal tuner.
