Plasma on Ebay

a bit to cheep if you ask me . they are selling a 61 inch sony for £2000 aswell

how can they be so cheap, must be a scam of some sort?
Well, it's a UK location so if I were interested I would ask to view first and then arrange to collect with cash and see it working before buying. The guy has good feedback so unless somebody has hijacked his ID you would have thought it was OK. What is concerning is that this person appears to mainly sell books (look at items from previous feedback) and now has 6 plasmas for sale at once at knock down prices.

I am just looking at a 46" CTX CPM46WV1 on ebay at £2500.

I can't find any info on this screen here so anyone rate this screen and the price please?

A friend of mine (who sent me the link) has been talking to the person, he can do a 42" for £1600, imported from the netherlands, brand new and boxed full uk warranty etc etc. Seemed to good to be true? But even £1600 is a lot of dosh to send someone you don't know.

DucatiEVO, these codes look like they are US models. Do you know if they are also European, and have UK PAL ability etc because they are not on or websites.
If not, isn't it unlikely they will have UK warranty?

?? are these really genuine??

Well, ive seen that same model in the flesh, at AskDirect in tottenham court road. I cant confirm that the model number is excactly the same, but theres no mistaking that particular model. Its very unique looking, with a see-through surround. As far as im aware, theres only a single sony 42" screen that looks like that.
He claims it works as a PAL screen, so who knows?

I think it would be a really good idea if one of YOU guys bought one, and let me know! ;)

Hehe... theve just disappeared from Ebay ... all of them!
So, either hes sold them all, or somethings not right there at all.
