Cinemaquest are now selling the Ideal Lume for overseas voltages if anyones interested.

CinemaQuest, Inc. can now offer our Ideal-Lume video bias lights to
customers who live in countries with 200/220/240v/50Hz electrical systems.
We have two products that help fill this need. One product is a standard
Ideal-Lume equipped with a 220v/50Hz magnetic ballast. This model includes
the optional dimming filter kit and no plug attached to the electrical cord.
We only have a small quantity of this model. When they are all sold, we
will not be having more made

The other product is a voltage converter that we have had tested with our
120v/60Hz models with electronic ballasts. This optional voltage converter
only costs $15.00 and will allow the use of our US models in countries with
200/220/240v electric systems. The 50 Herz line frequency in other
countries does not effect the performance of the lights

this was an e-mail sent to me due to a enquiry I made ages ago
