I have purchased my Pioneer PDP 435 FDE today, and I am now hearin horror stories of how Plasma screen are basically knackered after 5 years. Some say they can be recharged, but others say they just degrade. Is there any truth in this????? :lease:

regassing is the oldest myth going and complete cr4p............and you're looking at 60,000 hours to half life on decent plasmas.......which even at 10 hours a day is over 5 years............
