plasma insurance help

does anyone know of any good insurance companies which fully insure plasmas? i'm gonna get the hitachi 7200 but with only the standard 12 months and hope to insure the tv seperate (it may even be covered on the contents). is this wise?

most home policies will cover accidental damage etc but you will have to see what the limit is per individual items as some only cover single items upto £1000 by default (for eg). Otherwise you will need to specify it.

thanks, i checked and they are covered so no need to shell out an extra 600 quid for no reason
