Can anyone point me in the direction shops with a number of different plasmas on display. pref. in the Northwest?? I am looking at getting a screen in the near future and want to look at a few for myself.

I did see some at the manchester show last weekend but they were from mixed sources...in fact i could only view a Pioneer 433Mxe (the unit I am most interested in BTW) from s-video and that was after waiting for them to set it up. I did see the 50" from component but it was not a prog scan image.

The Fujitsu's there were awesome but after speaking to their staff there I soon found they were cheating as they were displaying hi def from D-VHS (Japanese machine) I know it shows what the displays are capable of but not really where we are at just yet...

Try Sound & Vision, Higher Market Street, Farnworth, Bolton 01204 861861, they have a good selection on display and will always set up one for you if the particular model you are interested in is not on display. They are excellent on price too!

    Thanks Delta,

I realise that it may prove a little difficult for me to get to see a Pioneer 433MXE setup in a shop because this model is not the commercial unit (i.e the more user friendly HDE) consequently I suppose no shops will have this unit as a demo...I would like to be proven wrong however.

I will try Sound and Vision though.

Alternatively, has anyone round this area got one of these sets in the home and willing to show it off:D I'm sure if youv'e got one you would jump at the chance to demo your plasma;)

You could also try Discount TV in Colne, Lancs (if that's not too far away) ?
