Plasma help

LOoking to upgrade my old 42'' viera to a 50'' plasma.

Not vital 3D as my amp doesn't handle passthrough, was going to go for gt 50 but put off by negative posts over banding issues.

Any advice guys??

Great set to upgrade to, you need to see the band for yourself.

Yes sadly its on all as far as I know, though varies set to set. This is why you need to see it for yourself and go to a good dealer who's willing to setup the one you buy so you can check it. I went to the TPS meet and it was bad on one ST50 but the other sets I had to look for it, one I only noticed it when shown where it is. It is being looked at but there's no guarantee of a solution.
