Right I have been sent on a quest to find a home theatre system for dear old Ma to relax in front of during retirement!

Whilst not looking for anything monstrous, she's after a fair size plasma. So I'm thinking 32 inch would be appropriate for the size of room. Now there don't appear to be as many 32' on the market as the the larger sizes, so what are the recomondations baring in mind a budget of up to £3000.
The Phillips 32PF9964 (what a mouth full) seems to have got some decent reviews and falls within the price range, however I was thinking of getting 5.1 so would rather get a screen without on board speakers. Good idea or are their better ones out there?

    Thanks,

    Henry
