plasma connections

    waiting for pio 433-mxe could anyone give me some advice on best way of connecting , i have component dvd,and rgb sky with a pioneer d2011s amp. is there a drop in pq when going through amp first and using it for switching etc. any help would be much appreciated ta

    Only go via the amp if you have 2 or more component devices that need to be switched. If not go direct. Chances are you will not notice a drop in picture quality going via the amp though, so the choice is yours.
    For $ky I would recommend the RGB>VGA unit from www.rgbtosvideo.com if the plasma does not have scart inputs. If it does just use a good scart.
