If I am using the dvd through the SVideo on my plasma what is the best way to connect sky without having to change the lead round all the time. I have a pace sky box and a panasonic th42-pw5b. Do you have to change any of the sky box settings? Please help.

    Hi,

What connections do you have on your Plasma? Different Panasonics have different connections.

For Sky, use the RGB to Plasma VGA unit to connect in to the PC type input on your screen. This also keeps the component input free if you wish to add a progressive scan DVD player later.

You could opt for the RGB to Component converter, but if you add the progressive DVD player you'll have to also add a component video switching amplifier.

Both solutions keep don't use the S-Video/Composite input.

    All the best,

    Dr John Sim.
