Was wondering if anyone can tell me if they know of anyone who does plasma calibration in the Edinburgh area and if so how much would it cost me to get it done :smashin:

    Gordon,
I have a new viera 42. Will your calibration make a noticable difference to the picture? If so I may be interested, please advise cost and timescale.Thanks.
    I live near Northampton.

    Hi,

I don;t discuss pricing on the public forums. I believe it is frowned upon. If you email me I can get you pricing and likely idea of timescale. I would be amazed if calibration didnt make a notceable difference. I guarantee it'll be more accurate after calibration, measureably so.

After Gordon calibrated my projector it looked completely different. I decided that, if I was going to pay thousands of pounds for a piece of equipment based on picture quality, I may as well pay a little more to get the best out of the projector.

I am about to get a plasma and hope that the difference between the out of the box display and a calibrated one, will be even bigger than with the projector because a badly set up plasma can look really bad.

No problem. As I remember it, you also give me a lot of good advice following the calibration.
