My TW box developed a mind of its own after i got my plasma changing channels and bringing up this and that I put it down to stray signals from a neighbors remote. Seeing your post looks like its the plasma affecting the TW box. Ive got TV drive now and all is fine.

it was on an old thread which i was also a contributor too.

had a similar problem with random channel changes, menus etc.

i think the answer given was due to infra-red radiation from the plasma, nothing i done stopped this happening. I now have the new TV drive box from telewest and problems have gone away.

Hi, I was also involved in the old thread, I had the same problem, I had the old PACE box then. Telewest first changed my remote which made no difference, then they changed the box (twice) which didn't sort the problem either. Finally after me insisting they changed the box for the newer and smaller EXPLORER 4200 DVB

Since then, which was about 3 months ago, i hav'nt had had any trouble at all.

Apparently the PACE box was picking up IR signals given out by the PLasma

Just pester them to change your box, it WILL sort it.

    Hope this helps.
