    Hi,

It's now just over five years since I bought a 'stopgap' RP Sony TV. I use the word stopgap because I intended to replace it with a plasma once prices had dropped sufficiently. So, five years on, are there any plasmas which are currently available or soon to be available which meet the following criteria:

    37" screen size
    HDMI input
Hi-Def TV compatibility (I'm not sure what this means in technical terms)

As a supplementary question I would like to ask: Can current plasmas really be unambiguously defined as being HD compatible? Does the current definition of HD-compatible merely mean that from the tech specs a given plasma should be HD-compatible or is it more black-and-white than that?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jules.
