    Hi,

I've heard that having a plasma above a fireplace is not a good idea - apparently it reduces the life of the plasma.

Is this true? How much does it affect it? Does it have an impact on the image quality too?

    Thanks
    Sat

It's only my view but I wouldn't do it. I don't normally watch a TV picture that high off the ground.

There are too many people on here who do it, so I guess problems could be kept to a minimum.
