I've got a multiregion and was thinking about buying Planet of the Apes (2001). Both R1 and R2 have a 2-disk special edition but for some reason the R2 is slightly cheaper. Can anyone recommend one of the other or know what the differences between the 2 are?

    Cheers:)

I'm sure you don't want to hear this, but your post did say that you were thinking of buying Planet Of The Apes..... If you haven't seen it, don't bother spending money on it, get the far, far superior original instead (if you haven't already).

I know it isnt a common view but I enjoyed the remake. Possibly because I never liked the original.

Its just my opinion so dont all start getting angry with me:(

Regardless of what anyone says the region 2 version has slightly better picture quality. But of course you need to be PAL to receive it!

The R4 is PAL as well and is a great transfer.
