First half starting at 1.50pm for those who are interested.
Just a quick reminder.
Wish my hard drive was like 5 times bigger, would love to keep these and the 6 Star Wars films but just nowhere near enough room.
Hope Planet Earth will be released on HD-DVD soon.
Absolutely agree! Sky have it in their power to give you more than half as much again (at least 10hrs of high bitrate extra) but they just haven't bothered... yet?
I had hoped to upgrade to the 750Gb Seagate before it started but things did not run to plan . . .
SATA card would not POST with the Seagate attached so after much messing around I finally got there.
Around 45 minutes to transfer a 75% full HD drive to the Seagate and then back in the unit.
All worked a treat and minimal downtime for those that matter
Second series is tomorrow too !
You could always get a DVB-S capture card on your PC and using DVBViewer software, archive the whole series to hard drive/disc. I have both series stored on discs.
True, but will a DVB-S card allow you to capture the BBC HD streams
Playback is the really difficult question though . . . . what can playback the H.264 TS streams if not a top spec PC
Separate names with a comma.
