I am currently looking to buy a Plasma screen but it must be less than 37". Preferably it should be 28". The reason being that I have a small flat in London and 42" would be too big for a room which is 11" accross anyone with any views of models and costs?

The only ones I have seen are the Hitachi CL32PD2100 and the Philips 32PF9964. Both can be found for around £4000. The picture on the Hitachi REALLY sucked. The Philips looked good (DVD source through a J Sim RGB-VGA converter). Try here for more info.

As far as I know, nobody yet makes a Plama TV smaller than 32" - Hitachi & Philips as mentioned.

    There is, however:

    1) A Sharp 28" LCD TV. You won't want one, however, because they are stupidly expensive - I've seen anything from £6000 to £12000 quoted.

    2) A Panasonic 22" LCD TV. This is much more realistic (?) at a list price of £2500, street price £2200, or Techtronics offer it at £1860. Model TX22LT2. Very nice TV, missing one important feature - a DVB tuner.

Both the above are 16x9 sets.
