Hey all,

Wanted to get some opinions.

The family have stolen my TV (65" LG OLED) and put on a sideboard in conservatory for their Netflix consumption. The big black boxes won't work here so I'm going to use some white B&W M1s I have lying around (and find another 2 for rear duties for a 5.1 set up.)

My question is - do I place the centre M1 speaker in front of the TV (not a good look but better sound) or on wall above TV (may be a bit high but may not be as good from sound perspective)?

Who's been down this path and what conclusions did you reach.

Cheers

David

In a 5.1 system having the Centre speaker above the TV and angled down can work well so it's certainly worth trying.

I've got my centre speaker above the TV. We tested it below but it made the sound come from below if that makes sense, tried it above, angled down, and the sound now comes from the 'TV'
