    When pre-running video cables for a PJ, I am having difficulty deciding the best option. My scenario is this;

    My DVD player (pioneer DV717) outputs RGB via a Scart socket but it has no component o/p. Therefore, I want to run RGB via scart to whatever PJ I purchase.( probably the panasonic PTAE300 )

    Now, will it make any difference in terms of picture quality if I get a long scart to scart cable (for the panny PTAE300 which has an RGB scart i/p), or should I get scart to 3xphono type plugs and connect the cable at the PJ end to the 3xrgb phono inputs?

    :confused:
