pixelation and skweltching sounds....

Just purchased a Nokia Freeview box which generally seems OK, but on a few selected chanels I sometimes get intermitent pixelation and the sounds brakes up an goes all skweltchy (bnest word to try and describe it!)

any ideas?

 

Yes, your signal strength is low, and interference from houshold appliances (and maybe from passing traffic) is causing the effects you describe. In short, you need an aerial upgrade.
