    Hi

I have a samsung m87 40". I notice on freeview that on some colours, greys, browns and skin tones there are blocks of pixels and it looks as though the tv finds it difficult to show a smooth colour. I know that freeview will not be the best picture, however this happens when watching new dvd's on my samsung HDD DVD recorder using a HDMI Lead.

I am worried that this is a tv fault, could it be a HDMI lead problem? If you are sat 2 to 3 meters away from the tv i can describe it as being a block of 3cm by 3cm pixel problem on certain colours.

My HDMI lead is a techlink cable that was £27.99 so i am guessing its a ok cable?

What should i do? has anyobe experienced the same?

    Your help is appreciated

    Thank you
