There has been some debate in my home recently about the best Pixar film. So in order of choice:

    Toy Story 2 *
    Monsters Inc
    Finding Nemo
    Toy Story
    Bugs Life

    Gary

    * one of the greatest films ever made and the greatest sequel of all time (yes better than Godfather 2!!!)

Two Towers and "King" are not invalid because they are more "continuations"

Although they all had good moments, I've got especially high hopes for "The Incredibles" due out here in December.

Monsters Inc is probably my favourite, not least because I can make jokes about a giant lump of metal from the title :)

    ^^

Agreed, though it's a close one for me between Toy Story and Bugs Life. Toy Story 2 is definately the weakest imho....

Gotta be Monsters Inc for me. Didn't think that TS2 was up to much (my opinion only!!!)

Haven't seen Finding Nemo yet so can't comment...

Bug's Life, Toy Story, it's all good, it's all good.

Disney losing the Pixar deal - what were they thinking??

Not seen Bugs Life but the rest as follows:

    Monsters Inc
    Toy Story 2
    Toy Story
Finding Nemo - watched this for the first time on Sunday and have to say that although it's a pretty good film I was a little dissapointed (especially compared to Monsters Inc)

I've not seen Finding Nemo yet and I didn't fancy Bugs life.

But I'am a big fan of John Lasseters / Pixars short films long before the feature length pictures were made, my favorite being Knick Knak the one about the snowman trying to get out from inside the glass dome to get to the very fine formed Hawaiian Tropic girls along a shelf...its pure class.

    Did Pixar not make Shrek?

Shrek for my money is easily the best animated film in my collection.
But if its excluded, then I think..

    Finding Nemo
    A Bugs Life
    Toy Story
    Toy Story 2
    Monsters Inc

    Shrek was a Dreamworks production.
I can't say that I have a particular favourite as I realy enjoyed
    all of them.

Monsters Inc. by a long way... Makes us laugh every time.

Nemo's ok, but the turtles are just like the Teenage Mutant Ninja versions and Dory trying to speak "whale " is so irritating at near-reference level. :thumbsdow

    For the Birds

    What a great short!

    TS 2
    Nemo
    Bugs Life
TS - But years since I've seen this and can't really compare now.
