I've had disc's stall with nothing more than a fingerprint present on the disc surface, I also have disc's with a few scratches that play perfectly.

If there is no apparent mark on the surface of the disc give it a clean anyway, but it really sounds like a possible mastering or manufacture problem. It's a bit difficult to diagnose without viewing another disc of the same movie.

Everytime I get to a certain point in to a particular bollywood NTSC DVD I get pixallation and the picture strats breaking up. This happens at the same point everytime, If I skip through it to the next chapter everything is fine.

I have a Tosh 2109 and have not had any problems before. Can dirt and dust cause this? or Is the disk faulty? Any comments much appreciated. Thanks.

I am plan to buy some Bollywood DVD's.

Are they generally as good in terms of picture quality and Dolby 5.1 sound, as their Hollywood counterparts?
