Impossible to answer, I doubt there will be much between them and untill some reviews are around I dont think you could know, one thing I do know is they will both be the same and if there is a difference on one console or the other it'll be minimal. The PS3 and 360 fan boys will tell you different but as its a multiformat game then that points to the same game for PS3 and 360.:)

Assuming the graphics are the same on each then I would personally go for the 360 version simply because I like unlocking Achievements :D

I think the game will probably be a load of dross like most movie to game conversions. I suspect you will have the usual argument of the ps3 will have better graphics and the 360 will have achievements. I personally would go for the 360 version....

    a) because i dont have a ps3
    b) because i dont have a ps3 :D

Not sure if this is old news or not but a demo has just gone on the marketplace.

For once it's not available in the US:D

According to the blurb on the download, it's the 'first level tutorial from the game'.

[Edit] <Insert compulsory ARRRRRR! for pirate related stuff>

It depends on how well its ported and what its ported from. Its likely it was made for X360 and ported to PS3 which prob means that its been rushed to get it into the shops in time for the film. I think on this occasion its safe to say that the X360 version will end up being better. If it wasnt rushed to come out in time for the film it might be the other way around.

A serious question here and I'm not partaking the urine...but what's the attraction in a Pirates of the Caribbean game? Unless it was for the kiddies...

    Easy achievements maybe?

I cant see any other reason to spend money on it unless you're buying it for your kid.

The majority of all movie to game ports are absoulute tripe and vice versa....the 2 of them should not cross paths but unfortunatly the marketing men that be know they well make a shed load of cash on something that requires little or no story and a VERY rushed coding job to coincide with release. I bet the achievements on this are also a piece of cake as well.

Just played this and didn't even know about the game until this demo came out.

I was impressed with it, nice lighting, atmospheric and the castle/fort reminded me of the museums where you walk down cobbled alleys with only fire-light to guide you.

Animation looks quite good with some varied attack moves that can be pulled off. The standard characters on this first level required just 3 easy button presses to dispatch...having said that, a mini-boss came along who required a finishing move to be killed. Also a cool method of duelling allows for a slightly film like fight scene, but it is a bit slow on the action for my liking.

Keep an eye out for the make-shift paddle during the cut-scene after the duel with that Jon Culshaw type dude!

I'm not too keen on advernture/rpg games but it was playable, for the first level at least bar the tutorial interruptions. Haven't enjoyed a Disney title as much as this one since Aladdin on the SNES! :O

I might get this for the game drought in the summer :D

[edit] oh and there was no blood so most probably aimed at the younger market, as has been said. But there are guns, swords, daggers and gunpowder to play with!
    :)

Just finished the demo and actually quite enjoyed it, although i did love the films, couple of problems i had though were for one the camera, not sure why but it was just a bit strange having to constantly move it myself, probably to use to the camera defaulting to behind the character in these kinds of games, plus the controls themselves for picking up and throwing knives was a little uncomfortable to pull off for me. Think the game is aimed at the younger audience though, and it does seem very linear in the demo. I'll wait for some decent reviews before i make my mind up, seems a lot of people are determined this game is going to be rubbish regardless, but think it's a possible purchase for me even if it does turn out to be a short lived distraction :)

Just had a brief stint on the demo and I really thought it was pretty classy for a movie to game spinoff (and a multiformat one at that).

I was not sure about the game before the demo came along, the videos on gametrailers shows some good graphics in places, so I am glad they released the demo.

Will keep me going over the next month or so until the Darkness comes out.
