RS do one for £43.95 + VAT (that's RS Components, not Richer Sounds).
They're trade only, so you'll need to find someone with an account.

RS are supposed to be trade, but maybe they don't always apply it that rigourously.
At my local trade counter in Bristol there's a notice up that says they're not allowed to serve the public due to planning regulations - I assume it's not "retail".

The only one that I have found and installed suitable for domestic internal use Is the the Calipsal Internal PIR E751R.
These are excellent for hallways where people tend to leave lights on all the time and can also be used in kitchens and bathrooms to cut electricity bills. Especially appropriate as electricity and gas bills are about to go up by a massive 15%.

There are also new energy saving compact floresents that have instant start and brightness and can handle constant switching. Combined with pirs could save alot of money and energy. Anyway...

They are white, unobtrusive dome shape, and are the only ones i've seen with the 90deg box scan area for domestic use, ie so you can put them in the corner of a room out of line of sight of other rooms, then they will only operate when room is entered and not when doorway is passed. they have variable lux level and time on, and can be linked in parallel so many can control one light if ness.

I get them from screwfix (you do not need to be trade to buy from screwfix, just shop as normal, but they do offer near trade prices and next day delivery)

    happy pir'ing
