    hi all,

I need a DVD player that has maximum compatiblity with DVD-R (i work as an animator...not a pirate ;) ) and will also make good transport for my external cd DAC.

i have decided between the Pioneer DV545 and the Philips Q50 (both have 54mhz10bit video and output 96hz/24bit audio signal, both cost £250)

does anyone have any opinion on which player to go for maximum joy with transport and DVD-r?????

    any opinion greatly appreciated.

    thank you all

    regards
