I received my Official MS Hi-Def Kit for my XBOX at the weekend. (cost 17 quid delivered from DVDBOXOFFICE of Canada).

Revisited some of the DIVX-HD trailers that are downloadable from the web. These were played on a modded XBOX using XBMC and having been set to NTSC to allow the Hi-Def modes.

The Madegascar trailer is absolutely stunning in 720p. I am now sure that the Pioneer Plasma was worth the extra dosh over the Panny.

Also a word of warning to anyone looking to get HD from an XBOX : avoid that madcow unit at all costs, only buy the Official MS version. The differences are stunning.

I've got the same set up as you, where are the HD Divx trailers from?

I tried doing the Terminator 2 Media 9 but the Xbox didn't like it.

    5 Trailers here : http://www.divx.com/hd/

Just download and burn to a DVD-ROM using Nero. XBMC plays these fine. It doesn't play the MS WMV-HD stuff though. I also downloaded a shuttle takeoff .mpg file that was in 720p and it played fine too. (Source was EDonkey)

Pans, there aren't really any pans in that clip IIRC. I know where you are coming from though!
