Can anyone help with setting up my amp??, the only way I can get the amp to put out any decent bass to the sub is to set it to 'PLUS' in the surround setup. It works if set to 'YES' from DVD but not using Prologic II or any non digital surround mode. (when watching digital terretrial etc).

    Thanks.

    Richard.

Have you set the bass peak level on it correctly (ie turned it off)
I had this problem when I 1st got my Ax3.

Set your main speakers to small. Turn your PLUS off. The amp should detect the sub in automatic setup.
Set your bass output to around 20. The manual will correctly tell you how do do this in "Expert Setup"
Then you should have no problem.

Just set my Ax5i last week and so far no problems. Sounds incredible.
Will take you some time to tweak the amp to your preference but be patient.
