    Hi,

I have just spent 2 hours wiring my vsx814 up...and have:

    1) A pioneer dv575 connected..
    2) Ps2 via component lead from whitedog.co.uk connected

    3) Monitor out to Projector..

These both work direct to projector..but not via the receiver...i can hear sound, but no video, and theres hardly anything in the manual that mentions video inputs...

    hmmm

You've not specified how the DVD and output to the projector cabled ie RGB, S-Video or Component. Assuming everything is the same there shouldn't be a problem unless the amp is faulty. The Pioneer 814 doesn't convert video formats that I'm aware of.

I wouldn't have thought there should be a problem with the way you have it connected. Double chack your connections, especially the monitor out!
