I'm very happy with my Pioneer VSX-D912 but there seems to be a problem...

It switches to Tuner on its own, sometimes while watching a DVD and sometimes if it just been left on, waking us up in the night.

And anyone enlighten me as to what is happening?

    Thanks

Possession by evil spirits is the most likely cause.

Alternatively, maybe it's the RDS travel flag firing and auto-switching - I think a mate's Sony amp used to do this. Have a look in the manual for the various RDS settings and see if that helps.

Also, speak to your local priest and see if he can arrange an exorcism.

I agree with Lester. My Sony used to do this if a general 'alarm' was posted by any Radio staion carrying RDS capability. It's designed to interrupt anything!! Disable the RDS flag and it'll probably sort you out.
