Pioneer VSX-D814 S-Video out ... How?

    Have recently purchased this amp and have been playing around with it today. Am more than satisfied with the sound through a set of Kef Eggs, but I have been unable to get video switching working via the S-Video outputs.

    The normal video out work OK and I am wondering if this is any setup needed of the Amp to "enable" the S-Video ones? The manual doesn't really discuss the S-Video outputs, other than to say they exist.

    Any help appreciated.

    I haven't got a 814 but do have a 912. On the 912 you have to feed it a s-video signal to get a s-video out. There is no up-conversion process. Other than that there is nothing in the menu to activate.

    Thanks for the reply. I guess that kinda makes sense. Looks like I need to get myself an XBox S-video lead.
