    Hi all,

What are your thoughts about either of those recievers and what's the difference between them, is it just the number of connections?

Also, Tannoy FX5.1 or MS Premiere's (older ones).

    Thanks for your thoughts...

NickP, the main diff between the receivers is the 812 has manual MCACC and the 912 has Auto MCACC.. and some number of connections.. oh yes 912 only available in silver atm..

Thanks Tons! I should have said that but was being lazy, I was refering to the pack with the "slightly" older sub and as you sound like you work for MS, can you get me a good deal? ;)

and Thanks Overflow, I get lost sometimes reading the specifications, would you say it's worth the extra cash going for the 912 over the 812?

    ta.

That Auto Calibrator seems to be bloody good- not quite as good as a proper human job but close. If you want a fuss free setup it will be ideal. I suspect the 912 will have more grunt.
And you can never have too much grunt .

    Grunts good!

Out of interest (I know that it's driffting off topic slightly) what do you (or anyone else) think would be the best "thin" speaker cable would be for that price range of amp and MS/sub-sat combo?
