I have just purchased the above receiver and am using it with a Cambridge Audio DVD53 and Tannoy FX 5.1 speaker system.

Everything appears to be in order but when I play a DTS Dvd, I only get the Dolby Digital or Pro logic 2 lights on.

Is there anything I need to configure in order to use the DTS capabilities? I have audio settings set to auto on the receiver.

    Numpty,

even on discs which have a DTS soundtrack, DD will usually be the default one which plays and you have to select DTS at the DVD menu stage before the film starts.

It can be in various places such as 'audio setup' or even 'languages'

...or whilst watching a DVD that has a DTS soundtrack, you can usually just press the "audio" (or similar) button on your DVD remote to toggle through the available soundtracks - saves you having to go back to the DVD menu all the time, and is easier to compare the sound of the Dolby versus the DTS...
