Pioneer VSX-AV5i for £470 - good price? Real world difference with 5Ai?

Hello again,

last week I posted I had found a VSX-AV5Ai for £420, and most people seemed to think it was a good price. The sale didn't go through however (according to seller, someone offered £500 and came to pick it up immediately - oh well...).

So I kept on searching, and have now found a VSX-AV5i for £470 in the second hand section of a local AV-store. It comes with a three month warranty and is in absolutely mint condition (it still has the labels with all the fancy features it has on it - you know what I mean).

I auditioned it yesterday and I liked it, and I don't really need the Prologic IIx nor the video upconversion, but I'm not sure about the older MCACC system and the 20 wpc less on this amp. I also keep wondering about the price, seeing that I "found" a 5Ai for £50 less.

Does that seem about right for this amp, keeping in mind that is comes from a store, even though it is used, or should I wait until I find a 5Ai for about the same price?

Is there by chance anyone who has had them both and cares to comment about the real world difference between the two?

Thanks,
CJ
