If the source you are listening to is 2 channel stereo how do you activate the fake surround mode?. I would have thought selecting either Pro Logic 2 or Neo: X modes would have cause the amp to activate all 5 speakers plus the amp but according to the amps display only the 2 front speakers are active at the moment, how do i get the amp to use all 5 speakers when selecting Pro Logic or Neo: X?

I should not im using HDZONE to get the same display on both HDMI outs which i know cause all device to only output stereo audio, but i should still be able to get all 5 speakers working if select Pro Logic II mode right?

My 924 does it. Don't know why but most amps only display the two speakers when it's on DPLIIx or something like that that.

I'm sure I'm wrong but it is only two channel audio and DPLIIx is the effect, it creates the other channels with the audio from two channel source.

It is using all speakers though.

Obviously you can stick your ear to them to see if they are playing for peace of mind
