Has anyone heard anything about an upgrade of the VSX 1015? I'm attracted by the price/performace of this receiver but would want HDMI connectivity.

Isnt the 1015 the new model? If it is it will be 6-8 monts before a new model hits the shelves. If you want HDMI switching now you will have to spend £1000 or so on a Marantz sr8500 or the Yamaha rxv 4600.

I think the 8500 only has DVI-D, not HDMI?

Yeah - but it should be HDCP compatible, so only a matter of getting DVI to HDMI lead.
