Does anyone know it the Pioneer VSX-1011S has on-screen display?
in fact, it's essential for some operations as the front LCD gives very limited information 9auto-setup for example).
No, the VSX-D1011 does not have OSD. Only the VSX-D2011 has (which is one reason other than the auto MCACC to get a 2011 instead)!!!
Also, the D1011 doesn't have component video connections!!!
You can do the 2011 mcacc without a display, not convenient but it is posible. My pj is too noisy for it to work. The mic is very sensitive, I even have to turn off the central heating
The question related to the 1011. Sorry about my misleading info - thought it was a 2011.
On the componenbt vide connections, note that even the 2011 does not convert video formast so it's not possible to input s-video and output component or vice-versa. Just one gotcha with an otherwise excellent receiver.
