The AX5 has no HDMI, but it would be a shame to ditch it, so HDMI switch it is. QED do one, I would not expect it to cause any degradation of picture. Not allowed to quote by forum rules, bit silly in this case maybe since I very much doubt you'd buy it from me, just as easy to pop to your local AV emporium. Perhaps Hornydragon will tell you how much, he's not a retailer and can say what he likes. Or LFC rules, the moderator, someone tell the man, it's in the public interest!

Hi there,
So i understand this, the Screen, plugs into the HDMI switch and so do the Sky HD and HDMI DVD player, but then how does the HDMI switch connect to the AX5i?

It dosent, just as it hadn't been before with just the dvd player :)
sound (surround)would be via the amp seperately via optical/coax as it was before with the DVD player..

Your best to use your sky HD box by component cable for now..Till sky sort there HDMI problems out..
