    Hi,

I'm contemplating buying a pair of Pioneer S-H710V or Canton CD300s (from Jake (who else?)). I've read a number of users saying at the CD100 is very good and I presume the CD300s will follow suit (although please correct me if I'm mistaken).

Anyhow the point of this message is that an online retailer (HiFiBitz) has the Pioneer on sale for around £390 (plus VAT i think) whereas the CD300s are about £200 more (although including VAT) and I'm just wondering if the Pioneer's are decent enough speakers for music listening and general TV use (not part of a surround sound system). They will be connected to a Musical Fidelity X200R AMP.

    Cheers,

    L.
