Well at this kind of price with the superb qaulity of picture that this panel produces,I cant see any better way to spend your money.I watched "Pirates of the carabbean" in HD last night and I watched it using the Pioneer "Standard" setting only with HDMI connection,the picture was amazing,superbly balanced colours and pin point picture qaulity it was as if you were there. No scaler or ISF calibration needed,just buy the 5000ex and your in for the treat of your life
 
That's odd, Alwyn, the ones I've seen have certainly been vibrant, but ludicrously inaccurate on colour, and whilst HD has been pin sharp, SD has left a lot to be desired. Typical Pioneer in fact.
