Hi all, Ive been looking at getting one of these Pioneer 435s for a while, and Ive just seen one in my local Richer Sounds for £2600. Not too sure which model, it just says PDP435. Do you think this is a good deal?

I am looking to get a HDTV ready plasma.. just wasnt planning on getting one so soon! I have the budget.. But will have to make the room at home!

    Thanks for any thoughts.

I have just (yesterday) taken delivery of a Pioneer XDE 435 (with the 505XDE box) from Huddersfield HiFi - no stand, wall bracket or speakers.
It was £3000 and includes 2 years warranty. Good price I think especially as I live in the area.
Beautiful picture from the digital tuner and the Denon 2900 DVD player

    Hi ya!

I too took the plunge a got myself a 435XDE. It was a hard decision between a PH7 and the 435XDE but at the end of the day I manage to get the 435XDE for £3000 with Pioneer wall mount and two year warranty and on top of that another 2 years because I paid with my barclaycard also I am protected for 60days if the price comes down :) . The next thing installing it which has to wait until the weekend :( . It really bugs coming home seeing the box I just can wait to set it up, any hint and tip for installation??

I just got a call from my local dealer (Nottingham) telling me that the Pioneer 435 (43") had been reduce in price to £3K.

He know's that I'm after a new tv, be it Plasma or LCD but space is at a premium at the moment and I can't sit more than 6-7ft away from the screen and I just think that's a bit too close for a screen of such size.

I have seen the 435 in action though with DVD and HD (awesome!) and i'm so tempted.

Prudence tells me to wait a while though.....
