Hey guys this is my first post and after reviewing many threads on the forum, feel you guys are most definitely qualified to answer my question. I just picked up a Pioneer 434u plasma with the media box and stand, from my buddy who was going to dump it. It currently turns on but has no display. I took the back off and have been trying to cancel the detection of the trap switch to further evaluate were the problem is via the self diagnostics tests but no luck
. I have 30 years of electrical engineering experience so I am hoping you guys could give me some advice on this-i'm hoping to spend no more then 200-300$ to repair it since it is a nice system.
I also have the service manual, self diagnostics tests etc.
