    Hi sezzi,

Do you have a particular reason for choosing the HDE model Pioneer? The MXE is £700 cheaper and offers superior picture quality. Try www.ivojo.co.uk for very reasonable prices. Not sure on the stock front though - why not give them a call.

    was told i would need a tuner !!! ?
and one was not available in silver ?
however info would be much appreciated ?
as the prices appear to be falling if i dont need a tuner
then maybee a 50" which is what we really want
will be within my price bracket.
so in short i do have a Pace ntl decoder box
that may or may not function as a tuner ?

    Hi sezzi,

As the supplied tuner boxes only have analogue tuners, you can just use a normal VCR for that purpose. Your Pace box could supply all your needs when connected by RGB to the MXE using a JSTech RGB to VGA converter. Ivojo have the 50" MXE for £5792 or in silver for £6020. Don't forget that the MXE is fully upgradeable whereas the HDE and the Pannys are not (at the moment, anyway!). Also, the HDE does not support PAL progressive scan.

    hi steve,
Ive just got off the phone and have located both the pioneer 433hde @ £4130inc vat and Del and the pioneer pw5b for £3345 plus £400 for the tuner and there both actually in stock !!!

But im still no nearer as to what i wont get if i dont get a tuner ?
ive measured up the good lady and does not want to move the fish tank so the 50" is out of the Question for now

42" it is (edging towards the panasonic)

what extra cables are normall required with panasonic and ntl box configuration ?

    regards alan
